“Drums and Wires”
Pleasantly weird, but not in an over-the-top kind of way. The dated sounds of the ’80s (read: SYNTHS) are not nearly as distracting as other albums from the same period, but it is definitely a product of the times. To me, this seems like a British version of a Talking Heads album, which is a compliment. The one big downfall is just the amount of music here – it’s overwhelming and becomes a bit too much after a while.
