Blur – Blur

Bands tend to make statements when they allow an album to take the title of their band, and this is a prime example of just that. Blur’s edge and ability to reclaim numerous genres finally took over the “Brit-pop” version of Blur – many tracks on this album are not exactly your traditional friendly pop-radio cuts. Their ability to follow their desires rather than the scene paid off in the long run and allowed us to have this classic album, one that might just define their career.
