Norah Jones – Day Breaks

Norah Jones

“Day Breaks”

The country flare of mid-era Norah is gone, and the piano-centric vocal jazz of the early-era returns. Unfortunately the inability for many songs to resonate (like the late-era) is also present. At times it feels like a homecoming for Norah and her sound, but just like the catchiness of the songs themselves, it is fleeting.
