Less like “Death Grips minus MC Ride” and more like “Zach Hill solo project”. The lyrics are eclectic and somewhat non-sensible, but the music is excellent. Some people labeled this “art punk” and “garage rock”, but I think it’s more of a progressive indie pop-rock sound. Give the album a spin, it’s less than 30 minutes.
