Age has not done this LP any favors. With thick ties to the nu-metal scene of the late 90s/early-2000s, the scratches of the turntable mixed with heavy guitar riffs scream immaturity on most tracks. There are a few exceptions, mainly coming on tracks where Brandon Boyd sounds like a crooner (A Certain Shade of Green). Even though it may be the most dated of the Incubus catalog, the volume of hits and “listenability” make it an acceptable LP.
