Give MGMT some credit, they make music that they want to make.  The only problem is does anyone want to hear it?  MGMT have steered clear of writing “only hits” ever since the breakout hit-filled Oracular Spectacular; but at what point are they just writing anti-pop songs just to write anti-pop songs?  Maybe I am not the target market for this album, or my mind just isn’t in the same state, but it’s clear that my connection with MGMT is fading fast.

Grade: D

Favorite Track: Your Life Is A Lie
